H1B to B2 COS petition

Hi,

I was working on H1B but I applied for B2 COS to stay 2 more months to find a job/pandemic issues. I returned to India within those 2 months and now USCIS has scheduled B2 COS biometric next month. What should I do?

I am also looking to return to the US on H1B through recapture process. Thank you.

Hi,
If you don't appear at the time of Biometrics appointment then petition will be denied.. Its better, if you don't want to proceed on B2 change of status, Please send withdrawal notice to USCIS.
Meanwhile, If you get new offer, you can file another H1B petition.
