  • tourist visa and to convert it into h1b

I have more than 9 years of experience of Oracle Financials and SAP financials. I have also passed the exams on IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) level 1, which is very useful for IT project. Have you ever heard these kind of cases who came to USA on tourist visa and converted into H1b? What kind of success rate do you think? Will I have to leave USA for stamping and will that be right away? As per my attorney it is possible and probability is very high to get through approval. But I need a employer who can offer me work and considers the request of h1b. Please let me know and thank you for your time.

---- There are many candidates with these and even higher qualifications and experience. You are in no way unique. The number of years of experience has no relevance for every employer. The employer has to determine what type of candidates are required based on qualifications, experience, skill sets and the willingness to offer a position as well as sponsor your H1

---- Yes, there were many people who came to the US on a Tourist visa and applied for H1. Not everyone got H1 approval nor did they get a I-94 with their H1 approval so as to continue staying in the US. Generally, you will be asked to go to your home country apply for a H1 visa and then return to US on the valid and stamped visa

---- There are many USC's and LPR's who are waiting in the wings to get a breakthrough. Unless the employer makes a strong case for you inspite of those applications, the chances are slim. However, you have to try and set the ball rolling. Apart from all this it is your negotiation skills that land you an offer

As per my attorney it is possible and probability is very high to get through approval.

---- The attorney is only satisfying you with that reply. USCIS will be the final authority about the H1 approval and granting a I-94 with the approval

But I need a employer who can offer me work and considers the request of h1b. Please let me know and thank you for your time.

---- Google search for employers in your area of expertise and post your resume on job boards rather than any forum
