Need some clarification for visa extension

Hi All,

My first post, needed some clarification.

My Visa is going to expire in 5 months and my passport will expire in a year. Just wanted to check should i renew my passport first or go ahead with Visa extension with 1 year passport validity. Will it impact the end date of Visa I will get?

Welcome Immihelp.
You can start working on your visa extension process as you have Passport validity of another one year. You are good to go.
It will not impact your visa approval duration.
