#1 Hello, My wife currently has a valid F1 Visa and a valid STEM extension OPT Card. She also got her H1B visa approved this year in consular processing I797B but stamping is not done. 1- Can she do a soft landing in Canada and come back to US without stamping using her F1-STEM OPT? 2- Can she start commuting everyday from Canada to US on F1-OPT and go for stamping later? Thanks.

Answer: Yes. If she has valid visa on F1 and with the help of other supporting documents, she can.
2- Can she start commuting everyday from Canada to US on F1-OPT and go for stamping later?
Answer: I am not sure about this.. You will need to check with your DSO. But regarding H1 stamping, Yes you can do anytime when you prefer to change your status on H1.
