Travel to US using NIE

Hello,

I have recently been issued an approved NIE and planning to travel back to the US from India in mid august. Can someone help me with their experience or if they know what kind of documents I should be taking along with me to make my entry into the US smooth? Any kind of help will be appreciated, even if you have recently travelled into US and if you know what kind of questions are being asked at immigrations or how strict CBP officers have been? Please help.

Can someone please help me on this? I'm not even able to figure out what flight are operating and allowing people with NIE or not?

can someone please help me out. I am losing time and need to be back in the US by august first week. Travel agents tell me that people who have NIE are not allowed to board flights to the US because a high volume of passengers are now getting approved NIE and flying to US. can someone help me???

I'm planning on applying for a J-1 Research Scholar visa and thus need a National Interest Exception (NIE) to be able to enter the US due to the Presidential proclamation of June 22. Obtaining a NIE would also allow me to travel directly from my home-country (the Netherlands) instead of doing a 14-day Istanbul scheme. I will be working at a laboratory focussed on cancer research, so I might be able to obtain one under the public health research exception.

I was wondering if any of you have had experiences obtaining a NIE, which documents you need to provide and how hard it is to get a NIE in general.
