Multiple I-797 question

I have been working with a company (say Company A) in US for more than an year now. Recently I got offer from another company (say Company B) and Company B filed a petition for H1-B transfer. After couple of days I received I-797C (receipt of the petition).
Now I have decided to stay with my current employer (Company A). I believe Company B will get my new I-797.
Will I need new I-797 (filed by Company B) in future, even when I am not joining Company B?

If you are not going to join that employer, the I-797C will do for your future records.
