I-797C Validity and extention

Hi All

My I-797C was filed in 2016. and i can see my status as
"On January 5, 2017, we approved your Form I-129".
Am i still eligible to approach the employer for H1B.
Is my case now cap exempt.
Who can i contact to discuss my case.
Till what date my petition will be valid.

Hi,
Did you ever be on H1B status previously? If so, then you will be eligible for CAP exempt.
Am i still eligible to approach the employer for H1B.
Answer: Yes. You can.
Is my case now cap exempt.
Answer: Yes. But as I mentioned above, you must be on H1B status within 6 years.
Who can i contact to discuss my case.
Answer: kindly have a discussion with Immigration Attorney and check with sponsoring Employer.
Till what date my petition will be valid.
Answer: If you were on H1B status within 6 years.
