H4 to H1B - Travel to India and back on valid H4

Hello,
Me and my wife are planning to travel to India in couple months. She was working on H4 EAD and got approved for H1B this year. Since it is currently difficult to get appointment for H1B stamping in India, to mitigate risk can she skip H1B stamping and return on her valid H4 VISA?

Hi,
Did she get H1B Approval with change of status or consular processing? If H1B got approved on consular processing then you may skip obtaining H1B visa and travel with the help of H4 visa. If petition got approved with change of status, it will be effective from October 01, 2021. So, you will have to get H1B visa stamping in order to travel back to the country.
