Real Estate Licensing USA

Hi,

I'm currently on H-4 visa in USA and i'm preparing for the real estate licensing exam. I spoke to DOL and they told me that I would not need SSN for appearing for the exam however would need it to get my license after I pass the exam. I wanted to know under category of visa should I convert my H-4 so that I can get obtain visa and practice thereafter.

I don't think you have an option to do that as a RE agent is an independent business owner and this is not possible on a H visa. Unless you have EAD, I am not aware of any options.
