American spouse for DS-160 for H1-B

Hello,
I recently got married with an American citizen, but I haven't started the GC process yet. I'm currently on my H1-B visa and I need to go to India soon to get my stamping. When filling the DS-160, should I mention that I am married to an American citizen? Will it ruin the chances for getting stamping? It is urgent that I go to India, else I would have waited until GC process is over.
