H1B Visa Appointments

I stay in Chennai and I am expecting my I-797 by the end of this month. I wanted to know if there is a specific duration in which the H1B appointment has to be scheduled ? I heard, all the appointments for H1B at the consulate are scheduled in the month of October. Is this the case or the appointments are flexible and can extend beyond October.

I am not sure I got your query/question exactly....

For H1 Visa appointments - you can schedule/book any dates in the VFS website (as long it is Open /shown in Green color)...

There is no restriction that you have to book in October only...
Depending on your needs /depending on your employer requirements and depending on the open dates - you can schedule anytime/book anydate.

Generally VFS website will open the dates 2 weeks in advance...so you need to check frequently if you are looking for any specific time...
