H1 transfer while on extension beyond 6 yrs

Hi all,

My H1 six years are up and my employer (A) applied for extension as they applied for my Labor before 365 days of my H1 expiry date. In the process, I have got an extension for 3yrs.

Now my question is -
can I apply for a H1 transfer to Employer B during these valid 3yrs?

If yes, will I be eligible for extension after the H1 duration with Employer B if they apply for my labor as soon as I join them or before 365 of my H1 expiry?

Thanks for the info Shervin. Can you point me to any USCIS documentation/link that infact it is possible or can be done?
