H1-B visa Interview and appointment

I came to USA on F1 visa in 2005 and then changed my status to H1-B in 2007 visa which is expiring on 30th Spet 2010, I have already applied for extension and will be getting an approval in few days( I did not go to India since 2005 till date). I am going to India in Novemeber for attending my marriage, the question I have is that which counslate should I attend ( I am from HYD), can I attend any consulate of my choice. The other question I have is that when I try to see available dates for appointment I can only see dates in October but no dates in Novemeber (VFS website says tha they normally do not open dates more than one month in advance). I would gald and really appreciate if someone can help me in this regards

were no more appoitments left in November.
