MRV Fee receipt for the dropbox is linked to old passport,

Hi All,

Feb, 2020: I paid the MRV fee and scheduled a dropbox appointment for me and my wife. The appointment was cancelled due to covid. The support team said that I can use my MRV fee for a later appointment.
Dec, 2021: My passport was expired and I renewed my passport. My profile still has my old passport details and I cannot edit it. I checked with the support team and they mentioned that the officer collecting my docs will honor it. If I schedule a dropbox appointment using my old profile, then I don't have to pay any MRV fee.

Does anyone else also experienced similar situation. Should I create a new profile with the new passport and pay the MRV fee again?

Answer: Not required... Please go with old passport number.. When you go for dropping the documents, Kindly share same thing to them. They will guide you at the time. Please make sure to carry both old and new passports too.
