  • Job Switch immediately after 140 approval?

Hello Readers and experts in the group,
Not sure this question has been asked earlier in the group, but I wanted to know some insights about job switch immediately after 140 approval. Below is my scenario :
    omegle xender

My PERM got approved about a month ago and employer has filled I140 in regular processing. My H1B max out time till Jan End. I am getting offers from other employers. I want to know is there any risk in switching the job ? I would first get my I140 approved in premium then ask new employer to file for H1B transfer, I know I would loose PD which is of Jan 2021. But are there any restrictions apart from that ? I have not informed new employer about my visa status as of yet and do not want to give any false promises. New job is on similar lines of Job description in PERM application.

Any suggestion on this topic are highly appreciated.

    Hi Member,

It is better to stay in the same company until you get H1B Ext approval with the help of I-140 Approval.. If you move to new Employer without I-140 Approval, you can not seek H1B Ext as you have crossed H1B maximum time..
Here is four points I am recommending.
    1. Wait for I-140 Approval.
    2. Extend your H1B beyond 6 years with the help of I-140 approval in current company.
    3. Stay with current company for another 180 days from the day I-140 Approval.
    4. Then consider H1B transfer.

    All the best.
    Thanks
