Travel to India when H4 process in progress ?

My wife is on H4 status and her H4 is in progress with USCIS and my H1b extension is approved and got document, if she travel to India during her H4 status in progress, does existing h4 will be revoked or she can go to stamping using my H1 ? Please advice.

Hi Member,
While H4 petition is pending and you have a travel plan to the abroad then you can consider obtaining H4 visa at consulate.. Once you get H4 visa stamped and reenter to the USA, Please send withdrawal notice to USCIS to withdraw pending H4 petition.
