Dropbox eligibility for H4 Child

Hi All,

My daughter is in H4 and she is dependent on my wife's h1b visa. My wife is eligible for a dropbox appointment in India. But my daughter's age is 14, as she is a minor, she has go through the in-person interview as per the regular process. Can anyone suggest whether my daughter would be qualified for dropbox?

Hi Member,
If she turns 14 recently and after she reached 14 if this is first stamping then she may need to go for In person Interview.. But as per new announcement by Department of State, She will be eligible for Interview waiver.
