Hi Team,
I came to the US in 2017 on L1 Visa and stayed in this category for 3 years. In 2020 OCT, my H1B got approved and I changed to H1B status(COS). The H1B petition expiry & I94 expiry is on Sept 2022.
My GC processing is about to start in the last week of Jan 2022 and I'm currently in the 5th year of stay in the US. So, I'm planning to extend my I94 to avail the remaining time left to reach the 6th year(recapture). I hope this will allow me to stay until Feb 2023.
If I extend my I94(till Feb 2023), is it possible for me to legally work after my petition expiry (Sep 2022)?
Please share your inputs!
