EMERGENCY travel to India in H1b

Hi all,

I need to travel to India for my grandfather's deteriorating medical condition. He is in ICU. Below is my current situation
- I am in USA for the past 7 years
- I came in H4 and then currently in H1 B.
- Haven't travelled out of country in the past 7 years and hence need to get H1 B stamping.
- My first H1 b will expire this October and my company will be applying for extension on Apr 1, 2022 in premium processing (result will be back in 3 weeks)

Based on this situation, can you please help me with option:

1. Is there any emergency visa appointments which I can avail and get my H1 b stamped, visit my family and then return back by April before my company files for extension?
2. Do I need to go for in person interview or can I avail drop box?
