H1B - Unusual Query: Pls Help me

I applied for H1B in 2008 lottery from India and I got my petition approved from USCIS. I have my I-797A with me. Job scene in USA was not good at that time. Many of my friend's Visa was rejected from the embassy therefore I was afraid that my Visa would be rejected from the US embassy. Therefore I did not present to the embassy.

The approval date mentioned in I-797A from USCIS was from October 2008 to September 2011.

I have all the required documents with me. Can I go for the Visa interview now.

I would be highly obliged if you could help me in this matter.

If that job is still available for you, then YES. You cannot go for the visa interview without the knowledge of the employer. You will need the latest offer letter from the H1B sponsor.

job is available with me and I have latest Job offer letter with me. I also have all the required documents from the employer. I have tax documents for 2006, 2007 and 2008. Do I need tax docs for 2009 too. Thanks
