Splitting DropBox Application into two logins

Help needed! I paid dropbox fee for visa stamping in India under my login for both my wife and I. We have not gotten the dates yet as they are hard to get. Meantime, we decided to split our trip. Wife has decided to go now and I am going later. So I want to split our request into two logins. I reached out to US travel docs and they told me they can do this for me without me having to pay additional fee. They asked me to provide required documents and give them an unused email ID (ID not used for US travel docs) where I want my wife's application to be attached. I provided them with all info. I gave them my wife's email ID as well and told them that her application should now attach to this new and unused email ID.

BUT they keep on sending me same question again and again - "In response to your question, we request you to kindly confirm which email you would like to apply and in whose profile."

Has anyone done this split before? What am I missing?

Thank you and yes, it was that section. I read what you wrote and then looked up the paper application. On there, it all makes more sense; on the digital application, it didn't seem as clear. Thanks again!
