Hello All,
I attended my H1B visa interview in the New Delhi consulate on April 26th. No interview waiver because I had booked my appointment a long time back. The VO asked for my Passport, I-797, DS-160 confirmation, Appointment Confirmation. I was then asked for my salary and my role at my company Qualcomm, San Diego. Once that was done the VO mentioned that I was 'All set' and held on to my passport.
However my visa process seems to be stuck in Administrative Processing since the 26th. I'm a little worried because my wife (who had an H1B visa interview on the same day) already received her passport with an H1B.
So here are my questions:
Anyone in the same boat where the application was stuck in AP even after a verbal approval? Your experiences works be really valuable.
Is there a chance of the visa getting refused/221g?
When should I reach out to the consulate again (in number of business days)?
