H1 extension rejected moved to H4 now new employer filing H1

Hi All,

I applied my H1 extension in October of 2009 and got rejected, I converted to H4 and came in US have been staying here for 3-4 months. Got a company who was ready to hire me full time. They are going to apply my H1.

What documents will be required and does my previous rejection affect my chances/process of current extension my new company is filling.

---- The emp[oyer/attorney will be knowing all the coduments to be submitted for applying for a H1. They are the ones who are going to file all the paperwork

---- The previous rejection will not have anything to do with the current application. Each application is independent of each other
