I and my spouse entered the USA from India on May 29th,2022 and our port of entry was DFW.
We both were initially given I-94 until 5/31/2022. However, we got it corrected after visiting
Birmingham, AL, CBP office on May 31,2022. The correction was done based on my latest I-797 dates
which are from 6/1/2022 - 5/31/2025.
After correction, we both were given the I-94 validity until May 29,2025. However, there is a mistake in my spouse's I-94 record.
My wife's visa has the last name of XXXXXX on her old cancelled passport. Her new passport has the surname YYYY. The CBP officer updated the old I-94 record of my wife and gave her validity until May 29, 2025.
Her old I-94 has the last name of XXXXXX and the last entry date of 2021 based on old canceled passport. When I asked the CBP officer about it, he said he tried to update her new I-94 record but
the system didn't allow him to update it.
Is it okay to stay with this info or should I try to get her latest I-94 updated?
Her H4 EOS is also pending since Feb 2022 without any updates.
