Hello, My wife is on F1 stem OPT. Her H1 dod not get picked and her OPT will expire next year on Apr 30.
I am on H1B and have an I-140, so we are in process of converting her status to H4. My attorney is asking what to put as the effective date ?
The current USCIS processing time for COS to H4 with EAD on USCIS processing times link show around 6 to 8 months considering all centers.
Can you please advise what effective date should we put so that we do not have any break in her employment ?
