  • H1 with MCA in progress

    Hi,

I and my wife moved to US in 2006 and my wife is on h4 since then. She has a BSc degree. Now she is pursuing her MCA in IGNOU staying here and has completed her 1yr and going on 3rd Semister.

My Question is since she has 16 years of experience now, Can she still file for a H1 based on the MCA 1Yr transcripts? she has still not completed her MCA of course.

    Please suggest.

    TIA.

A min of bachelors is the need for H1b. If she has 16 years of experience, of course a H1b can be processed without the MCA.

I am not a lawyer and you need to consult with one to validate any info posted on the forum and discuss your case specifics. H1b Question? Read the FAQ first.

Thanks for the reply. My wife has a BSc degree (15 years) of education. Since she has completed her 1 Yr of MCA, she technically has 16 years of education even though she hasn't completed her MCA.

So Can she consider her 1Yr MCA as as her 16th yr of education?
