I’m an Indian Citizen on an H4 Visa currently residing in the US.
My Indian Passport has been re-issued recently
with corrections to my DOB and place of birth.
The US Visa is valid until 2024 on the previous passport. However, there is
a mismatch between the DOB and the place of birth on the new passport and
the Visa on the old passport.
- I’d like to understand if it’s required to correct the details on my
I-94 or the Visa?
- Will there be an issue if I’m traveling in and out of the country?
If yes, how do I go about it updating the records?
