This is on behalf of my friend.
My friend is working on L1B for MNC company , they filed and got his H1B approved as consulate processing not change of status.. They have provided scanned copy of approved I797 but not ready provide original copy of I797. Also his company is not planning to move him to h1B in next 2 years.
So he is looking for possible options -
Can H1B petition be transferred from one employer to another before H1B activated when he is in the USA?
If not then Can H1B petition be transferred from one employer to another from India before H1B activated if he travel to India?
Please suggest. He is really frustrated with his companies immigration policies and want to get out of such employer.
