Hi USTravel docs team.
My wife and my children has filled their DS 160 separately from my DS160 and paid the fees with their existing i797 and they all fall into H4 Visa(H4 validity till Nov 3, 2023) . I see that there are no slots available near by to travel to India as of today (Nov 11, 2022)
I am planning to go for my H1B visa renewal during May 2023. If i travel in June 2023 to India I can fill new DS160 and update it in my profile (Update profile section). Even if i apply for new H4 for my wife and children i am never sure when they receive their documents (delay in H4 processing). If they dont have new H4 with them during their travel, I have few questions here
1)As they already filled DS160 and paid fees , can they update their profile with my new i797 details during their visit to India for stamping as they may have not received any H4 documents with new extension or can they use their old i797 which is valid till Nov 2023.
2)If they update their DS 160 with my i797 details, will they have to go for finger printing again (they already have done finger printing in November 2015 and also given in USA for their H4 documents) , if that is the case how can they book the slot for finger printing.
