H1B Visa/Not Currently Working

Hi

I am currently on H1B with an Indian company (My base location - India). My visa is valid till Oct 2011. I am currently located at client location in USA and my project is ending on 30th Nov 2010. I would like to stay in US for a few weeks before traveling back to India. How long can I stay here when I am not working on an active project, but still a full time employee of the Indian company?

There is no grace period after your employment ends unless you apply for a change of visa status, such as to tourist visa.
