H1 stamping in mumbai consulate..

Hi

I had been charged for DUI..in 2008..I have completed all court term and paid all fines. case is clear now.
Now I m going to mumbai consulate for visa stamping..
Could u please tell me which r the additional documents I'll need to carry??
Will my DUI in records will affect the stamping?? Are there chances of denial of visa??

---- Yes you will be questioned at the time of the visa interview. For your own defense carry all the court documents, If arrested carry the arrest warrant and be prepared to answer all the questions. You may be given a 221g for furthere verification of documents, but you do not have to worry on that count

---- Once the records are cleared and your reponses are as required you should be able to get the visa. It may take some time, but that is inevitable

---- Have faith and all matters will settle down

need help please

I have the same issue. I had visa interview 2 days back and the officer said my visa has been approved. And the next day I receive 221g blue form stating a general list of documents to be submitted at VFS anyday at 930. I have cleared all dwi formalities and the case is closed. I am really tensed now because of this 221g and wanted to know what would happen next. Can you tell me what was your experience till now?
