Hello, I have received an H1B approval notice recently from USCIS, however, the I94 at the bottom of the approval notice is missing a digit. It is usually 11 alpha numeric characters but mine is only 10. I contacted the attorney from my company who filed the petition and he is saying it should not be an issue and that I can submit I94 from online records which has the full 11 characters along with rest of documents during dropbox and if a CBP officer asks me I can explain that a digit is missing in I797 approval notice but it’s shown correctly in the online I94 record. It’s the same I94 number so I know what the missing digit is. I have a dropbox appointment in India in a few months and want to make sure there are no issues. Please let me know if anyone ever had an issue like this and what to do.

It's understandable that you're concerned about the missing digit in your I94. However, if your attorney is confident that this won't be an issue, then it's likely that you'll be fine. It's not uncommon for errors to occur on documents, and USCIS should be able to verify your information using the online record that has the correct I94 number.
If you're still worried, you may want to consider contacting USCIS directly to explain the situation and ask if they have any recommendations. You can also bring a copy of your online I94 record to your dropbox appointment omeglz to show as proof of your correct I94 number.
Overall, it's important to remember that mistakes echat happen and USCIS understands that. As long as you have the correct information and can provide proof of it if needed, you should be okay. Good luck with your dropbox online2yu appointment!
