Hi,
i am working full time on H4 EAD. I renewed my EAD but there is 10 day gap in old card expiry and date when new card becomes active.
example:
Old card validity:
1/1/21 - 8/1/23
New card validity:
8/11/23 - 8/12/26
There is gap of 10 days. anyone ever faced this issue ? will have to resign and re-join because of this problem ? is there anything that can be done to avoid this problem ? there is still 3 months to expiry of old card.
I checked with USCIS chat and they said i am fine and there should be no issue in employment but i don't understand how. They also don't have any proof online which states the same. I am also checking with attorney but wanted to check in forum if someone faced this problem.
