I am travelling to INDIA for H1-stamping. Its a renewal this time.
While filling the DS-160 form, I forgot to write the Receipt/Petition Number.
I submitted the DS-160 form and now I can't change it.

Is it ok if I forgot to mention Receipt/Petition Number as I already have the original I-797 which has that information
OR
Do I have to cancel DS-160 and re-do it. If so how can I do that?

If you have already booked the appointment, then you will need to cancel it, redo the DS-160 and book the appointment again. But before doing that, call VSF helpdesk to see if they can help you.

Thanks for your reply. I have not book the appointment yet. I'll redo the DS-160 from scratch again and ignore the previous form and barcode.

"US Taxpayer ID" in DS-160?

How should one answer the question on "US Taxpayer ID" in DS-160?

My employer has got one for the company, and am not sure whether the same needs to be mentioned in the DS160.

Please advice.
