  • refusal under 221g

    Hi,
I had visa interview on Aug 26 '10 in HYD
received 221g with no addn'l docs required n saying admin processing
after 2.5 mnths received letter from consulate that they cannot issue visa because

"Your petitioner does not appear to be either able or willing or provide qualifying employment in the US in accordance with appropriate laws and regulation"

Called Hyd Consulate they say that the case is closed and to contact USCIS.

    Has anybody gone thru this??
    Does this mean visa rejection??
    What are my optons now??

any suggesstion would be much appreciated..

    Thanks

It means USCIS has requested your employer to provide more information and documentation about your case and the employer did not respond in a timely manner or refused to provide the documentation.

I am sorry about your situation. It means your visa is refused and they probably also cancelled your petition.

    You should contact your employer.

Again, I am sorry about your case.

Use this information with your own judgement.
