  • DS160 form data for H1B

i have got my H1B approved and have currently resigned my job in india.

ideally , on the date of interview, i may not be an employee of my current company..if i take a date post my relieval...
in that case, what is it that i need to write as current employer in the DS 160 form.?

is it the last employed company that i write or is it the future employers name i will have to write. or does it give out some other option.

please help me clear this issue

    Regards
    Sri

You can write unemployed if you want to be perfectly true.
If you are serving your notice period or something or very close to quitting, current employer's name is fine too.
This is my opinion and not legal advice.
