Me too waiting going to enter 9th month next month i.e. sept'12.I attended interview in second week of Dec'11 what about you?

I have read your post and know that you are also waiting since Dec 2011. My case history is as below
VI : 1st Dec (first time H1b stamping - Delhi consulate),got 221g green slip asking some documents
13th Dec - Documents submitted
20th Jan- Visa denial letter received ,case was sent back to uscis for review
24th Feb- Petition got reaffirmed ( that was much faster then we expected)
15th march - second interview, this time VO took our passports but handed over a yellow slip
28th march- got mail from vfs to submit some more docs
9th April - Document submitted
22 May - Employer was contacted by consulate......

since then many follow ups ..every time got same standard reply that its under process.........God knows how long we have to wait .............Nine months for admin process.....they are really FASt

Some visa applications require further administrative processing, which takes additional time after the visa applicant’s interview by a Consular Officer. Nope....I am about to complete 2months in a cpl of days. Mumbai consulates link to check the status is not working...
I read some where that we can call up DOS for status updates after 2 Months wait period...does any one have the contact info?
Does it really help calling them up??

Interview was in first week of april, submitted documents n same day....EVC model....waiting for past 4 months to hear from embassy ....

I just received an email .. bar codes did not appear in CSR.

Just curious...Did your case number not appear in the CSR and instead you recieved an email?
I thought they did away with emails and started displaying the list on the website. So, going forward...we need to check our emails too...

Have received my visa after 221g yellow from Mumbai Consulate on 02/29/2012 (Interview Date).

I received the email from Mumbai NIV (on 07/24/2012) about completion of Admin Processing
and to submit the required docs at VFS.
(1. Yellow pending letter 2. Passport 3. Print out of the e-mail)

Documents were submitted to VFS Mumbai on 07/25/2012.

Immigration department of my employer received my passport on 07/30/2012.

It was a long painful wait of approx 4 Months and 3 weeks !! Happy that it ended with a positive note.

Good Luck everyone waiting for their cases to be cleared. Have patience and keep praying.
