But its just i do not need my passport at present, and its kind of positive (Not Necessary tho') that they still have my passport..!!! Usually they return the passport and even petition back to USCIS if they have solid reason to i believe..!!! so my case is still at the embassy level, idk what damn process they doing..!!!!

None of the numbers were contacted, whose details I provided in my DS160 form.

My employer's overseas deputation department responded to me saying that I have to wait for my bar code on the website or an email from Consulate. As they have seen similar situation in previous 221g yellow cases.

I dont think I have any other option except just to wait it out

Anybody got lucky in todays report ?
    Not me Also.
I don;t know whether the Seq of CEC barcode matters for them....
It's really frustating.... they should really make this visible instead of keeping like black box for applicant. i never heard Pending work so many time before 3 months.....

You can do nothing from your end in that case , just stay in touch with your employer for update from USCIS

Dude .. I think there is no new information in the reply you got from consulate. We all know that there is no set timeline or transparency in this process.

If you drop an email to VFS after 2 months then I guess you will get below response (which I got and it indirectly conveys the same message)

    Dear Sir/Ma'am,

We are in receipt of your below email, the same will be checked with the U.S. Consulate. You will receive a reply once we get the information from the U.S. Consulate.

    Regards,

You said you have submitted documents .. did they give you a blue slip?
