H1b Transfer , Joining date ,gap between

Hi, I working with employer A currently, and my new h1 with employer B was approved 12/10/2010. I am planning to give 2 week notice to my current employer where my last day will be 12/30/2010 (since 31st is a holiday), and plan to start with B on Jan 3rd 2011. this leaves a gap of 3 days (31st 2010, Jan 1, Jan 2) before i start with company B. will this be an issue since technically there should not be any gap between h1 employment. what are my options since , since i want to leave my current company before this year (i can encash my vacation that way, or else i will loose it)...

That is fine. You can start on Jan 3rd as the rest are US holidays.
