H1B Extension status

Hello,

We have applied my H1B extension in priority processing and got an RFE. My employer responded for an RFE and the online status is "RFE Response Review". Today when i called up my employer they say it is approved for 3 years but online status shows still "RFE Response Review".

Q : Do employers come to know the status before it is updated online? Pls. let me know. Would there be any delays on the online status?

Sometimes it takes time to update the online records. There are cases where the online case status was showing "Initial Review" even after receiving the approval notice. If your employer has already received the original approval notice, then there is no point in keep looking at the online case tracking system anymore.
