Hi everyone!
I'm changing my visa status form J2 to H4 and filling Form I-539. I am stuck with Part 4 Item 14 question “Have you, or any other person included in this application, been employed in the U.S. since last admitted or granted an extension or change of status?”
I am residing in US under J-2 visa and working as a freelancer. I have my Employment Authorization Card (EAD). All the time I lived in the US, I worked only as a freelancer.
So, my answer to a question regarding my employment should be Yes or No and why?
