passport not yet received

my wife has got h4b visa approval on dec 22, 2010 at chennai embassy. I have been checking the visa status online and the status remains unchanged (passport is under process by us consulate).
Any one come across this situation?

Yes, I also had been on the same day. The VO said that my visa has been approved and as the petition is not available in PIMS system might take 4-5 days to return my passport with visa. It has been 2 weeks since then am yet to receive my passport and am wondering what to do next.

If they dont found I-797 details in PIMS at KCC they order to KCC and KCC orders to USCIS. it takes aprrox 20 business days and some time more. Call to chennai consulate and ask them for status. Check for previous post titled 'Your passport is not handed over to VFS..."
