Hello here! I have been on H1-B visa for the past three years and had my I140 approved 10 months ago. I am planning on going back to my home country (India) for a few years and decide later if I would want to come back. However, I see conflicting opinions all over. Here are my questions:
Would I have to be part of the H1B lottery process when I eventually decide to come back?
Would having an I-140 make it difficult at the border check (as it might prove immigration intent)?
How do American companies look at a candidate with an approved I-140 staying abroad but wanting to move back after the job offer?
Also, has anyone here done it? Thanks in advance
