Hi everyone, need some guidance. My H1-B of 6 years expires Sept 2024. My company filed my PERM in Dec 2023. What are my options to stay in status till my PERM/i-140 gets approved? Earlier, my lawyer gave me an option that we can recapture days (4.7 months) but now says we need to file h1b again. Is that true? My company is new to all of this and I’m the only employee on h1-b.
