Please tell me when i have to start apply for my h1b extension and before when I have to finish apply for my h1b extension with sample dates.

Extension can be files 6 months prior to your I-94 expiry date. Your application for renewal should reach USCIS before the I-94 expiry date or the extension will be denied. If your extension is denied, then the time spent in U.S after the I-94 expiry date will be considered illegal (That is why it is advisable to file the extension as early as possible instead of waiting till the last minute).
Not a legal advice. Use of this information is strictly at your own risk.

You can apply for the extension 6 months prior to the I-94 expiry date. That is, after January 16th 2011.

Your application for extension of status should reach USCIS before July 16 2011. USCIS recommends that you file the extension at least 2 months in advance.

Not sure why you were not able to do this simple math yourself.
