Hi, I just got informed today morning that my H1B was selected for the second lottery in my 3rd attempt. My STEM OPT EAD expires Sep 15 and I’d assume I’ll get a cap gap until Oct 1. Is this enough time to get the LCA and H1B petition done assuming we do premium processing. I work for a small startup and I’m the first H1B selection so we do not have a lot of processes setup hence I need to be heavily involved in guiding my lone HR. I’m wondering since this is the second round of selection do I get an extended Cap-Gap or if I’ll have to go on an unpaid leave from Oct 1 until my petition is approved?
