H1 visa Renewal Approved recently, cancun/Canada vacation possibility?

Hello,

I came to USA in 2006 on F1, moved to H1 a year later , my H1 expired in 2010 after 3 years so, got H1 renewal approved a month ago until 2013. It was premium processing, had an rfe , answered it and got approved.

Can i now visit cancun or canada and come back to USA on 797 without visa stamping. I want to go to vacation for 2- 3 days and then go to india.

So can i go to cancun or canada and come back without stamping?

Should I have to get visa stamped before entering USA?

Do you suggest going to India for visa renewal or cancun /canada would still be ok?

You can certainly visit Canada or Mexico for less than 30 days and return using Automatic Visa Revalidation. You will need to show your new I-94 which is at the bottom of your approval notice, you can attach it to the old I-94. Do not submit it when you leave the US and on return they will let you keep the same I-94.
