Hi,
I am currently working for Employer A who is doing my GC in EB3 category
(I140 approved). I applied for my 8th year extension 2 months back and it is still in initial review. My present H1B is valid until 20Feb 2011.btw i work as a consultant.
I am planning to change to Employer B who is offering me a job and has agreed to process my GC in EB2.
Please advice me on below questions -
1) While my H1B extension is in the process can i transfer my H1B to a new employer ? If so should i do it before 20th Feb ? Do you forsee any issues.
2) Is it better to get the H1B extension with Employer A and do a transfer to Employer B ? will i save any time ?
3) Any idea how many months/years will my H1B get extended if i prefer to transfer to Employer B ?
4) What happens if my H1B transfer gets rejected with new Employer ? Can i go back to my present employer who applied for H1B extension 2 months back ?
