I am on H1b visa and I was laid off from a company in oct. I got my new job in Nov and company filed my H1b in premium processing but I got RFE. Now my 60 days Grace period ends soon in December end

Can I start working on RFE if employer allows?
What if they say we have to wait till RFE gets clear and my 60 days grace period ends.
Should I find new job? Let’s say I got a new Job, can they file my h1b after Dec( when my current H1b ends but As my one H1b has been filed in grace period but I am yet to start)
