  • What happens if someone gets laid off in EB1C and I140 approved

Given EB1C is tied to an employer and now if someone tries to change jobs/laid off, will the new employer still be able to file I-145 h under EB1C? Or they would again have to start the Green card process from the start? Also what happens to H1B extensions? Can you get H1b extensions on the basis of previous employer’s I-140 approval? router login 192.168.l.l.link/

If you're on an EB1C petition and change employers before your I-485 has been pending 180 days, the new employer must file a new I-140. EB1C doesn’t need a PERM. After 180 days, you can change jobs without a new I-140 if the new role is in a similar field (AC21 rule).

For H1B extensions, you can use a previous employer’s approved I-140 to extend beyond six years, as long as it hasn’t been revoked for fraud. A new employer must file a new I-140 for green card sponsorship, but you can keep your old priority date.

Hope this helps. My response was based on my research, knowledge and external sources like skiplegal.ai

I became interested in Polish culture after I started learning the language - it has a lot of restraint and warmth. I wanted to transfer this feeling to my vacation. I tried pl.kasynopolska10.com/najlepiej-wyplacalne/ - I liked that everything was simple and without pressure. I play occasionally to clear my head. The atmosphere is somewhat reminiscent of Polish evenings: calm, cozy, in moderation.
